Heavy Equipment Tow Operator

Summary

Bayside Kubota has an immediate opening for a Rollback Driver. We are so busy that we need additional drivers to join our team. This person will move heavy equipment between our three Southern Maryland locations and throughout the DMV area. We are GROWING and due to this expansion, we are looking for dedicated individuals ready to join our team. Essential Functions

• Pick up and return equipment independently while prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.
• Maintains accurate and easy to read records of work performed.
• Reports any work shortages and malfunctions of shop equipment to the Service Manager.
• Keeps rollback clean and properly serviced. Reports any problems with equipment or rollback to the Service Manager.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a driver log.
• Adhere to delivery schedule.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license with a good record
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A self-motivator with strong attention to detail.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and hours of work and days must be flexible to include some evening or weekend hours.

Location
This position is located in Southern Maryland with commutes to pick ups and deliveries in surrounding arears.

Experience

• Experience with maintenance and operation of heavy equipment, off-road mobile machinery, independent mechanic work and tool ability is preferred but not required.
• Experience with loading and rigging trailers is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer operation including email and Microsoft office.
• Must be able to travel.
